Hybrid cloud infrastructure is a necessity for testing real-world applications. Unfortunately, implementing your business-critical applications on a hybrid cloud is complex and messy due to, Cloud security concerns of Time-consuming manual set-up requirements of Low visibility into costs and cloud consumption.
CloudShell Pro is an environment as a service solution that accelerates and simplies environment provisioning by enabling teams to create self-service, on-demand replicas of full-stack infrastructure environments for hybrid cloud conguration in just one click.
With CloudShell Pro, you can:
Using CloudShell Pro, you can:
Model complex infrastructure and application environments using the drag and drop blueprint creator to combine physical and virtual infrastructure, network connectivity, applications, and cloud interfaces like Azure and AWS. Once the blueprint is created, it can be shared in a self-service catalog and reserved by your teams to automatically spin-up the environment on-demand. When the environment is no longer needed, or the reservation time expires, the environment is automatically torn-down to prevent excessive cloud spend. Role-based access controls govern what blueprints a user can access, how long the blueprint can be reserved by that users, as well as provides an audit trail of who used what resource and for how long. Authorized users can also remotely connect to virtual machines using RDP and SSH without having to share passwords. With built-in lab automation and cloud management features, like inventory, reservations, scheduling, role-based access control, conflict resolutions, and business intelligence, you can get a holistic, single-pane of glass view into your cloud usage, spend, as well as see trends.
Using CloudShell Pro, you can deliver complex test lab environments to achieve Environment as a service and:

Today, every business is a software business. And Teams across the Software Development lifecycle need application environments to support their development, test, and deployment-to-production.
Application environments require infrastructure. And sometimes data.
To reap the benefits of infrastructure-as-code, multiple tools and platforms must be pieced together and whatever is missing will need to be created, which is resource intensive, difficult to troubleshoot, hard to scale, and full of hidden costs.
Providing environments to distributed teams presents an even bigger challenge in achieving scalable DevOps…
CloudShell Colony is an environment as a service solution that streamlines the provisioning and deployment of complex application environments on your cloud; enabling environments at scale.
CloudShell Colony offers out-of-the box integration with common DevOps and CI/CD tools and helps you unlock the value of your existing assets
Dev and test teams can use a self-service catalog of reusable environment blueprints — to launch any environment they need – already provisioned and deployed – with just one click
CloudShell Colony gives quick access to your applications. In case of errors it provides a convenient and easy debugging experience so you can see all the logs in one place.
When environments are no longer needed, CloudShell Colony tears down all cloud resources and stops unnecessary public cloud costs.
Achieve Environments at scale by simplifying environment provisioning and deployment throughout the development and release pipeline —
From secure dev environments —
to supporting state-of-the-art deployment-to- production strategies like blue-green,
while controlling user access and environment cost, without compromising security and compliance.
When it was first introduced 15 years ago, Infrastructure as Code was a real disrupter for IT and one the key enabler of the DevOps approach. It then became the de facto method to quickly describe and deploy cloud infrastructure. The shift to a developer centric vision of infrastructure provided the ability to support frequent updates and API centric automation. As cloud infrastructure became more and more commoditized, and IaC practices where more broadly adopted, they also saw their limits. One of them is that the needs of developers are application centric, whereas IaC is by definition Infrastructure centric. This creates a gap between the expectation of the Dev team and the Ops team that has resulted in delays and additional security risks. As cloud providers are moving up the stack with more value added services, and organizations are slowly evolving to scale their digital transformation efforts, providing the proper governance and management on top of infrastructure as code has become critical.
In this webinar, we review some trends and best practices with infrastructure as code, and discuss how Quali’s SaaS platform, Torque, can help enterprises DevOps practitioners scale their IaC efforts and leverage their investments in this space. We also have a demo!
